Do you remember the common cold?

RIP Cold and Flu

Picture: Colorado ~ I wasn’t feeling completely myself this day but I wanted to experience a 12,000ft above sea level hike. So I wore extra clothing and had the experience. I stayed in bed the next few days because I felt a bit ill and rested and recovered because it’s a common human experience.

Definition of Common: Ordinary, normal, typical, average, unexceptional, plain, simple.

I remember in the not so distant past when I had a cold. I still worked, danced, grocery shopped, took care of things, took trains, drove, met friends, went to restaurants, etc. I continued doing all the things that I would normally do when I “didn’t have a cold” or when I wasn’t feeling congested. I just brought a lot of tissues with me and blew my nose when needed. I still covered my mouth if I coughed or sneezed and didn’t look around with concern about someone throwing a look because I was having a normal or “common” human bodily function.

Which brings me to another part of this inquiry. I do not align myself with the idea that it is my responsibility to say I am sorry to someone when I have a cold or congestion and hope that “I didn’t give them something!” This is totally absurd to me. Here I am feeling unwell or just going about my business with a cold and then the social narrative states that “I am supposed to be vigilant” to everyone else around me and leave the comfort and caring of my body to take care of their supposed need to “not get sick.” This is total bullshit because ~ I am NOT responsible for anyone else’s immune system!

I see this stupidity as a part of “this time in our history sickness” that has nothing to do with a cold or flu. It is a sickness of the soul. The alarmists, who are a small percentage of the worlds population, are deliberately perpetrating acts of covert and overt violence against humanity. They seem to be celebrated and believed at all costs, which continues to baffle me.

So I ask myself ~ Why have so many people bought into this? What has happened to the human spirit? What has happened to knowing that a cold is just a cold? How deeply in fear are we as a world?

One of the things these 3 years has taught me ~ It is not my job to take care of or protect people from their own inability or desire to take full responsibility for themselves!

Grow up people! Get in touch with your body, your desires, your joys, your thought and mostly your feelings. And only then can you be on your way to your true nature which is well-being! This is your life. Live it! Own it! Be accountable and be in charge of your life choices!

You are the only one responsible for YOUR life. You Choose! A healthy body equals a solid stable well-balanced mind! And it takes a well balanced mind to direct your actions to choose a healthy body. It’s a collaboration of all your senses to choose YOU!

Every day you have the opportunity to find ways to get in tune with your own body. This deliberate action will take determination and a desire to stop giving yourself up to outside sources. Or you can continue depending and relying on others to tell you what you need and how to live.

Question: What are you afraid of? Death? Or is it actually Living YOUR life!
