Found an old piece of paper I kept on how to make your own sticky putty.

In a bowl - dissolve 1/4 cup of borax in 1 cup of hot water.

In another bowl - dissolve 5 oz of white glue in 1/2 cup of hot water.

Combine the two bowls and stir for about 3-5 minutes until it forms a ball.

Don't be surprised if there is a little liquid not mixed.

Roll in your hands until it forms a ball. This will also remove the extra water.

I wrapped part in plastic as shown (see photo) so it didn't stick to my fingers while I was pressing it onto the keyboard of my laptop to clean the dust and dirt that collects.

To make 1/2 of the mix

1/8 cup (2 tablespoons) of Borax in 1/2 cup of hot water

2-1/2 oz (5 tablespoons) of glue in 1/4 cup of hot water

To make 1/4 of the mix

1 tablespoon of Borax in 1/4 cup of hot water

1-1/4 oz (2-3/8 tablespoon) of glue in 1 oz of hot water
