Practicing the /er/ sound like a tiger. Also, reviewing the Mr 'e' rule. Letter pairs come first and Mr 'e' rule works in all of the words as always (unless a letter pair is in the middle of the word. Then the 'letter pair' trumps everything). Have fun acting out the 'someone who' /er/ words and the 'more of' /er/ words if you like. Please read all of the words on the board with a friend, family or maybe by yourself. Remember to read in your book corn/er/. Happy Reading! For more practice you can find my reading tutor videos by subscribing here: https://clikview.com/@SharonLeonard

If you’re in the grocery store and they don’t have grass-fed organic, only grass-fed or organic.
I’ll let you know. For more details on this topic, check out the full article on the website: ➡️ https://drbrg.co/3XChKTcUS Wellness Meat: https://grasslandbeef.com/Grass-fed vs. Organic:Organic • If something says its 100% organic, then it’s organic • If something just says organic, then it’s 95.99% organic • Organic means without pesticides, antibiotics, hormones, or biosolids (sewage sludge)Grass-fed • There is no legal definition of grass-fed (it needs to be grass-finished) • Grain-fed beef is heavy in omega 6 fatty acids, grass-fed is not (omega 6 fatty acids are more inflammatory, omega 3 fatty acids are more anti-inflammatory) • Grass-fed beef has CLA, and more vitamin A and vitamin EIdeally, you want to consume grass-fed grass-finished 100% certified organic. Review last week's letter pair words, this week's letter pair is /ar/. Letter pair rules trump the Mr Silent E rule. The 'e' stays silent but does not hop over one letter to reach his vowel friend. He sits quietly at the end of the word and lets the letter pair make thier new sound. Have fun making the /ar/ pirate sound and reading letter pair rules. Happy reading! "Saint Patrick’s Day is a celebration held on March 17 to remember the death of Saint Patrick, the patron saint of Ireland. The day commemorates the arrival of Christianity in Ireland and is celebrated by Catholic, Anglican, Eastern Orthodox, and Lutheran churches. Saint Patrick was a 5th-century Christian missionary and bishop in Ireland.
"The Irish have a rich heritage steeped in hardship. Many Americans are descendants of Irish immigrants who overcame obstacles and contributed significantly to the building of our nation. The holiday has expanded to celebrate Irish food, music, and traditions. However, it’s essential not to forget Saint Patrick. His evangelism has profoundly impacted the cultural and religious traditions of Irish Americans here in the United States. America has been a place for religious freedom, Catholic or Protestant. As we celebrate Saint Patrick’s day this week, let’s remember its origins and meaning." (Beau Davidson, The Beau Show, Epoch Times) link here: https://www.theepochtimes.com/....saint-patricks-day-t

Today we are taking a break from phonics and learning 'sight' words. These are words that you will use your eye sight to read because they do not follow phonics rules and in some cases don't even make their own letter sound. For example sometimes /s/ makes the /z/ sound. Also, today you will find a mistake in the video. We all make mistakes, see if you can find mine, I made it when reading the sight words (don't look too hard). :) *Have fun reading the sight words and practicing with a friend, and remember the next time you make a mistake while reading-- you've just opened a door to learning something new! Mistakes are your friend as long as you learn something from them or catch them and fix them. Have fun and happy reading!! :) (Photo credit: Znettilife on instagram).
