Exploration of what might allow a curse to land.
As the bird by wandering, as the swallow by flying, so the curse causeless shall not come (Prov. 26:2).

A curse flies around - but it cannot land if the curse is undeserved. It may already be in the atmosphere - but it cannot have an effect upon the target, unless the targeted individual is open to that curse. If we have made a place, an opening for the curse - then and only then, may that curse land. Without an opening, a curse cannot reach its intended target.

It does not matter if the curse has been sent out by someone who says they are doing it in the name of God. There are specific laws and protocols that have been established by God, meant to serve as protective guidelines regarding the diplomatic interactions between sons who are not in agreement; and between Adam and other beings.

Failure to understand what these protocols are and the limitations placed upon those who would wish to do harm, may result in unnecessary fear, bondage, or inappropriate compliance to a group/leader/idea.

What are some of the openings, that will allow a curse to land?

Fear is an opening that forms an opening or may work with other wedges in order to create a landing space. The opposite of fear is faith in our Creator. When we stand in faith and rest In Him, then His righteousness covers us, guards us, and protects us. Conversely, when we are in fear, we create the energy that will allow what is feared to land.

Often, fears (consciously acknowledged or unconsciously acting upon our thinking/emotions/soul) may lead us into unlawfully or inappropriately turning against someone else without cause. In this way, we might give power to someone else and end up losing not only the power we once had granted to us by God, but we may also lose authority, stability, or even become ensnared by what we attack without cause.

Additionally, it is possible to begin to attack someone who is doing what is right -- someone who is following Divine Order -- because that person is seen as a threat to what we are doing. If we begin to attack from a position of fear, then not only will that attack not land upon our intended target, what we send out may fall back upon us, our loved ones, our friends, or our ministry.

Therefore, it is wisdom that says, I will not attack outside of Divine Order. I will abide by God's appointed laws and protocols. As rising sons of God, cursing should rarely (if ever) be used. We know that scripture tells us to bless and not curse. (Mt. 5:44)

We are to be in courage, not in fear. We stand in courage only according to how we have faith in Him. From that position, we need not fear what others are doing, thinking, or speaking. We honor what God is doing; resting in Him.

Even when we do not understand the turmoil around us, God has a purpose and a plan.

Other openings that may allow a curse to land include engaging in sin, especially known sin (disobedience).

By maintaining a misplaced covenant, we may allow ourselves to be open to whatever someone else speaks into our lives. Such covenants may even be couched in godly terms. A covenant may involve an agreement with dark aspects of ourselves, with material objects, with financial increase, etc... Or, we may have established an informal covenant with an individual or group in such a way that it takes a higher relational position than our relationship with God.

Another big opening is a lack of knowledge. If our soul goes unfed, it will begin to draw in unhealthy "food and drink". This may occur without our conscious awareness. We become open to what is flying around in the atmosphere, because the heart is not full. The soul desires more and it will be fed. We have the gift and responsibility of choice - what will we partake of?

If we grow in the knowledge of God, then we are less likely to fall prey to:

*Curses launched against us
*Unsound or unhealthy teachings and propaganda
*Opening our ear to dark voices
*Becoming as our own adversary
*Becoming an adversary to others who are operating in Divine Order and thereby bring judgment upon ourselves or those near/dear to us.
*Becoming ensnared by fear or sin
*Going into bondage under those who would control or manipulate us (including those who would do so in the name of God)
*Becoming paralyzed by fear of what is not understood

Just noticed.... So many words, but the most important was left out :
Ephesians 1:21
"21 Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come." King James Version
You also forgot to preach Grace. When He said "It is FINISHED" He meant all sinners - like me and you - are FORGIVEN to receive Jesus.

He will do the change, not us. It is ALL ABOUT HIM, not you or me.

Just saying. I am no scholar.
