Donald Trump uses Florida rally to call for 'death penalty' to stop 'crime and drugs&

Former US president Donald Trump has called for the “death penalty” to help reduce drug and human trafficking crimes in the US.

“If we had a meaningful penalty, death penalty ... you would stop crime and drugs in the country immediately”, Mr Trump said while holding a rally in Florida.

“Right now if you get caught they give you a jail for half a day, they don't do anything” he added.
