In Fort Myers Florida, a group of friends and neighbors call channel 2 News in Florida asking for help. Newscasters frantically try to help them. Praying for their safety. The picture on this cover is of another house in Fort Myers. The area was hit extremely hard. Hurricane Ivan was one of the worst Florida has seen in many years. Naples saw gusts of over 110 mph, Cape Coral 142 mph and storm surge projected to reach as high as 18 feet in some areas.

I am fine, I prayed for them all day. I have a feeling they are okay but I haven't heard anything after that day.🙏🏻🙏🏻

The news people and Fire chief gave them good advice to get something that would float to save them, this most likely saved many others that day.🙏🏻

@SharonLeonard: Yeah, I was thinking it was good that they had it on the news. It probably gave others advice they needed. AND it got many people praying for them.
