Gua Sha is an alternative Chinese medicine. The Gua Sha tool (also known as a board) is commonly used for facial massage to reduce pain and for lymphatic drainage. I am a lymphedema physical therapist and in this video, I explained my thoughts on the Gua Sha tool and how I would utilize it specifically for lymphatic drainage, tips for safe use, and where the research is at.
