Review last week's letter pair words, this week's letter pair is /ar/. Letter pair rules trump the Mr Silent E rule. The 'e' stays silent but does not hop over one letter to reach his vowel friend. He sits quietly at the end of the word and lets the letter pair make thier new sound. Have fun making the /ar/ pirate sound and reading letter pair rules. Happy reading!
