Central bank digital currencies (CBDC) have been heralded as a silver bullet that will solve all of society's ills, including but not limited to: increasing financial inclusion for the unbanked; combating money laundering; boosting financial stability; protecting personal data; encouraging private sector innovation; and facilitating cross-border payments. but the true reason behind this push is far more devious, and the amount of control that the governments will get is truly terrifying. Government has officially announced the pilot program for the digital dollar which is the Central bank digital currency (CBDC) or digital currency of the united states. This digital dollar is a CBDC which means it would provide governments and financial institutions with surgically precise instruments to target people. So lets take a look at how dangerous this digital dollar will be for all of us.
