Teacher's Unions are now running the schools, it is a broken system. As a former teacher I would strongly recommend parents to home-school. Getting together with neighbors and friends who also home-school and sharing the learning experience is great for socialization. Research has proven for several years now that home-schooled students score far better on National exams. Students today need security and support that they are not getting in the public school system. Teachers are actually advised to mis-lead parents in many situations. There is a better way for students to learn. The current system is not working and in many cases doing harm.

While I am not sure that the teacher's unions are as strong in all parts of the country, I do agree that the students are a low priority in all public schools, when they should always be the top priority of every school. I have been a passionate advocate of home-schooling for quite some time, but especially since the dawn of medical tyranny. I home-schooled my grandson during this period, while his schoolteacher mother and her peers struggled to keep their jobs because their union was too weak and/or apathetic to challenge the nonsensical "leadership" of the board and administrators, who were bought and paid for by all the helicopter bribery. Teachers were overworked, underappreciated, and otherwise dehumanized. The students' education actually regressed in many areas, while their physical, social, and psychological well-being was altogether ignored. Now that our permanent health emergency status is temporarily between contrived crises, my grandson will begin his fourth grade year returning to the classroom, much to my dismay. Thank you for your comment.
