I'm old enough to remember when Ted Nugent was counter-culture. Come to think of it, he still is. So are we. The reality is that our culture has shifted. Our values remain intact!

@SharonLeonard: Ronald Reagan was an FDR Democrat who shifted to the GOP during the Johnson - Goldwater 1964 Presidential election campaign. The pro-life plank in the Republican party platform was entirely due to him, and remains to this day as a testament to his influence and leadership. He brought about an end to a four-decade long cold war without spilling one drop of blood! He stands with Abraham Lincoln and Theodore Roosevelt among the greatest of our nation's Republican presidents. Donald Trump shares some of the characteristics of all three.

@dtwalsh: Yes! I loved Reagan, he spoke from the heart and lead with fearlessness, much like President Trump! The book "When Character Was King" by Peggy Noonan really encapsulates his personality. Great leader!
