A friend of mine who owns a small business told me that it is very hard to get employees with a high work ethic. She said that in her opinion, the younger generation has been greatly influenced by social media such as the Kardashians and want to live that lifestyle.

She also said that hiring people part time from the baby boomer generation worked out better for her in the long run as they showed up on time, were happy to have a job and were dedicated.

Yes, very true. I worked at a small business and the older employees have an amazing work ethic where as the majority of the younger people wanted to know how little they could do for how much.
