2 年 前On August 30th, 2023, we are also going to have a second moon in August also known as a "Blue Moon" .
The August's Sturgeon Moon was (August 1st), with August's Blue Moon being (August 30th).
This August 30, 2023 super blue moon will be extra special because the full moon coincides with the time when the moon's orbit brings it closest to the Earth making the supermoon appear 8% bigger and 16% brighter than a typical full moon.
When to see this blue moon - starting at 9:35 PM ET - 8:35 PM CST - 6:35 PM PT
