When awaiting a big storm like Hurricane Ian it's good to set up an interior room with no windows and doors that is sturdy --such as a bathroom or closet. Here is my closet with snacks , water, supplies, bible, etc so that if you get stuck in there you will have supplies and a good book, candles, flashlights etc. If you can, charge a battery pack to charge your cell phone for communication. It's good to have a floating device incase you become stranded on your roof.
