The Cambodians and Chester River Knitting Company, part 1

I love having Bill tell stories about the history of Chester River Knitting Company. We wanted to share some of these with you. Here he begins telling about his and Beth's involvement with Cambodians when Chester River Knitting Company was Patterncraft. As many of you know, my late husband, Bill Ruckelshaus, knitted sweaters on vintage hand-operated knitting machines for over 40 years. His sweaters were sought by people all over the world who appreciated his quality and the longevity of his sweaters. He used natural fibers such as wool, cotton, linen, camel hair, alpaca, and silk, as well as many others. He knit classic styles which would be appropriate for years and could be made trendy with accessories. Tragically, he was killed in an accident on his way to Maryland on July 14, 2019. I've created a Facebook group in which you can learn about his sweaters, the art which may possibly have gone to his grave with him, more about this wonderful man (I'm not at all biased), and have the opportunity to purchase some of his sweaters, if you'd like. (I have to sell them as part of his estate and would love to have them bought by people who would appreciate them.) Feel free to invite your friends. Obviously, as these sweaters sell, they'll be gone forever. https://www.facebook.com/group....s/chesterriverknitti
