Something that I felt called to when we went to his pickup. I'm not sure what I'm going to do with it yet. I've learned since recording this video that this is the intake manifold. This is one of those things where I just may be really weird. I don't know if anyone else will relate to this.I tell some of what I learned from watching the videos of the accident yesterday. Please understand that I'm not recommending that everyone do what I did -- especially seeing the videos, seeing the truck (and the picture of the other car), and even reading his medical reports. I've had a lot of experience dealing with pretty gruesome details and I was a medical transcriptionist for years, so I'm probably better prepared to handle seeing and hearing the things that I saw that day. I also have a better understanding of the meaning of the medical report because of this. It did help answer a lot of questions for me, but it really might be too much for most people, especially women, to see and hear. It might be more appropriate for most people -- women especially -- to ask a trusted friend to view these things for them, so that they can get their questions answered. Also, FAIR WARNING: I get a little preachy toward men near the end. Sorry. I think I was experiencing a little of the anger stage of grief. At the same time, I do wish men would listen to and try to hear what I'm getting at, despite the preachiness. Wives are often left at the mercy of their husbands, who often don't really stop and think about how their actions could affect their wives. And truly, we often do know more than you (or we) think we do. Women tend to gather knowledge intuitively, which is hard for us to put into words. Our input is, nonetheless, often very insightful and accurate and I don't think our husbands take advantage of that as often as they should.
